Thought flows in terms of stories...

Stories about events, stories about people, and stories about intentions and achievements. The best teachers are the best story tellers. We learn in the form of stories-Frank Smith. An educational system isn't worth a great deal if it teaches young people how to make a living but doesn't teach them how to make a life-Author Unknown.

Justice Renato Corona, Who is Alleged to Have Betrayed the Public Trust, Violated the Constitution, and Committed Graft and Corruption, Entered a “not Guilty Plea” Against All Charges Hurled Against Him

Philippine Politics: Which of the Two Branches of Government Has a Greater Magnet that Draws the Crowd? PNoy Representing the Executive Branch of Government and Corona Representing the Judiciary Branch of Government

"According to Dr. Greg Zamoras, political analyst, "the president and the senators, including their allies are doing their job to prosecute the accused. If Corona thinks he is very innocent, he must present it with evidence in the senate as impeachment..."

COMMENTARY | Our politics in the Philippines is not really "that very strong" compared to other countries. You know why? Our politicians are more on politicking rather than on sticking to the main issues in order for the political problem to get finally resolved. There are lots of reasons why we have experienced the low self-esteem politics' profile. Corona's impeachment trial is a definite no-no by a number of Filipinos as it brings chaos among the citizens, most particularly to the officials representing the three branches of government. Besides, Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona, who is alleged to have betrayed the public trust, violated the Constitution, and committed graft and corruption, entered a "not guilty plea" against all charges hurled against him. The plea was made through his counsel, retired Associate Justice Serafin Cuevas, who told the Senate impeachment court that the chief magistrate was present to show his respect for the Senate impeachment court.

The ongoing impeachment trial has accumulated a few controversial "highlighted statements" and salient points to take into account: 1) The prosecution had requested to subpoena the financial records of the Supreme Court to prove that Corona used public funds for his personal gain; 2) A lawmaker pointed out that the allegation that the chief justice dipped into the judicial funds for personal use is included in the body of Article III; 3) President Benigno Aquino III said that he was satisfied with the performance of the House prosecution panel in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona; 4) Corona is seeking the inhibition of SC justices Antonio Carpio and Maria Lourdes Sereno from the deliberation of his petition; 5) Farinas, when asked by Jinggoy Estrada's inquiry on why he did not sign the impeachment complaint, added that he is a slow reader and was not yet finished reading the complaint when the House of Representatives successfully collected enough number of signatures to impeach Corona; and 6) The impeachment trial against Corona is a serious internal political affair and must be resolved by the Philippines alone.

We can't deny that our politics seems not fully ripe because of the political system. It's the system that never alters since the time immemorial. Most of us like traditional politicians ride only on the ship with much-awaited fame and glory; despite the fact, it ruins the entire system and, at the same time, it gives shame to the people who take advantage of our system. The impeachment trial is the result of political system. The word SYSTEM gives us the acronym to describe or make publicly known its ulterior motive to the Filipino people in general. It is up for us now to resolve this deeply-rooted problem at once.

Let's attempt to hear some voices of the people about impeachment trial and give them utmost importance as far as the president of the Philippines and Chief Justice Renato Corona are concerned. Most of their comments when interviewed by the local reporters were:

1st Commenter: According to Dr. Greg Zamoras, political analyst, "the president and the senators, including their allies are doing their job to prosecute the accused. If Corona thinks he is very innocent, he must present it with evidence in the senate as impeachment body. The president made his right decision to punish the accused who is charged with the following: to have betrayed the public trust, violated the Constitution, and committed graft and corruption. I hope the senators who act as judges on impeachment trial will resolve the case right away and find ways to judge not by technicalities but by evidence presented by both parties so that we can assess beforehand that trial is really great and it should be dealt with the people who are guilty of such crimes. I won't conclude that Corona is guilty unless he can clear his name out by presenting much evidence to counteract the allegations hurled against him by the prosecutors on the government side. Let's uncover the concealed truth so that the public may know the real truth behind it."

2nd Commenter: Mr. James Faja, college instructor from a prestigious university said, "Let the prosecution panel and the 188 congressmen who signed the impeachment complaint against Corona open their Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) to the public so we may know who, among them, are serving the people with honesty and sincerity; in other words, these people must have the integrity to handle such positions without politically tarnishing them. The truth should come out fairly and should prevail over bad publicity or character assassination. We don't know that these people are more corrupt than Corona. As the saying goes, 'Let the one who has not sinned cast the first stone.' Remember about yourself first, before you point your finger, your other fingers are pointing at you, or that before you point your finger to others, make sure your hands are clean. Don't pretend that you're clean without even resorting to graft or bad practices. And don't judge anybody right away if you are not certain of something behind the bad scene. The law said 'A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.' We should not be swayed by our blind emotions and, to know the truth, we should be keen at observing the flow of impeachment trial in order to arrive at final judgment with honest and credible impeachment trial against Corona."

3rd Commenter: Mr. Jun Vlackat, Supreme Student Government (SSG) president said, "Let us not judge CJ Corona before the impeachment trial is finished. He has no 'pork barrel' unlike some congressmen and senators, who are tagged as CORRUPT and DISHONEST public officials ... getting rich on their public funds, have the pork barrel. Those officials, who are not performing well and who are claiming that they are clean, do not have the right to prematurely judge Corona and point a finger at him. Tell me, who among the Congressmen and Senators do not have millions or billions in their bank accounts? Why don't they resign first and open their bank accounts to public scrutiny, and submit their SALN and ITR for public examination? Let us see who the big time corrupt public officials are really unworthy of public trust. Let us not be blinded by our emotion and trial by publicity. Let justice be served fair and square. Let rationalization prevail in this trial. For all we know the accusers are more guilty than the accused."

Finally, there are pros and cons of the controversial issue about impeachment trial in the Philippines. No foreigners will intervene so as to come by the real truth about it. The statement coming from the foreign observer like "The impeachment trial against Corona is a serious internal political affair and must be resolved by the Philippines alone" is correct and neutral because it cushions the impact of sui generis politics that we have in the Philippines. The Filipinos are the only ones who can at once resolve the political conflicts among the branches of government without inviting the foreigners to intervene or actively take part in impeachment trial. In the end, the truth will gradually set us free if we are innocent of the charges filed or charged against us.

Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

What is Logical-Mathematical Intelligence?

It indicates the capacity for inductive and deductive thinking and reasoning, including the use of numbers and the recognition of abstract patterns.

This kind of intelligence is geared towards exploring Mathematical problems and solving them at the same time.

Some Logic Activities to be done inside the classroom are using graphic organizers, conducting and experimenting, discovering patterns and trends, sequencing events and using deductive and inductive thinking approaches.

And some Math Activities are making a graph, solving story problems, playing number games and using Excel on the computer.

This is the reason behind the formula E = mc2 as developed by Albert Einstein.

This intelligence   enables a person to calculate and carry out complex with  Mathematical operations.

Hmmmm … why don’t you open your Science and Math books?

Linguistic Intelligence

What is Linguistic Intelligence?

It points out the ability to utilize words and language.

It is also the ability to think and use words and languages to express complex meanings. With constant practice, you can be an orator, a speaker or journalist and even a politician.

Further, it is the capacity to utilize the target language, or perhaps one’s native language, and likewise other languages, to express what's on one’s mind and to comprehend other people well.

The gifted people who have really possessed these attributes are the poets, copywriters, novelists, journalists, scriptwriters, orators, workshop-seminar presenters, editors, publicists, speech writers, lawyers and politicians.

Finally, Linguistic Intelligence individuals have the ability to rationalize. Likewise, they love to read, write, listen and possess or love term or word games and those who are good at spelling, sensitive to patterns, good memory for general knowledge, orderly and systematic and good public speaker/debater-- though may prefer either oral or written communication.

How do we distinguish plot from abstract?

Each word is expounded categorically based on denotative and connotative levels:

Plot is the story line or the structure of a story. It is a series of meaningful events in the story like for example, you have the exposition where all the characters, setting, language and style are recognized and you find the involution or rising action where it may raise to another part and then there is the climax which is where the excitement or interest takes place which where they work out the problem and second to last there is the falling action which commences by degrees to end the story and last there is the denouement or resolution which ends the story.

Abstract should be written in a third person point of view (see example of the abstract in the 3rd person point of view on the other page below). It is a shortened version of a longer piece of writing that highlights the major points covered, briefly depicting the content and scope of writing, and reviews the writing's contents in encapsulated form. It is not long and it is only about a paragraph. Six sentences are enough for writing an abstract.

Famous local quotes: never-ending day to day challenge and difficult challenges in life

Quote # 1: “We are facing a never-ending day to day challenge that we must overcome to survive many problems, complications, troubles and intricacies.”

Everyone faces challenges in life regardless of age, gender, and economic status. Right from a young age up to a ripe age, everyone faces a challenge almost every day in life. The bigger your life’s goal, the greater your challenge is. Facing difficult situations and overcoming problems require some amount of maturity, understanding and strategy.

Quote # 2: “We all face tough and difficult challenges in life.”

Some people may experience hardships and encounter difficult situations. Some problems are difficult to handle and even to overcome with sobriety, especially when the odds go against the other odds. Going against the all odds is something that we are frail and incapable of doing and controlling. To overcome such challenges, we need to have this “never quit” attitude in life. If we develop it, we’ll be able to overcome a bit of it. To make a gradual change is a daily challenge to make it totally perfect in the end. The challenge should bring out the best of us. Develop that kind of attitude in uttering “there’s no way to quit; otherwise, we’re going to fail.” If we develop this mindset, we’ll get everything smoothly done by degrees.

Famous local quotes: let failure fuel and fear us in a positive way and having a crush on someone is a sign that you're growing up

Failure is still failure but we can attempt to pan out if we do our best and strive ourselves to be the best always.

Quote # 1: “Let failure fuel and fear us in a positive way.”

Most people avoid challenges because they’re afraid of failing. Nobody will, most of the time, say that you will succeed.  Anyone gets failed anytime, but it’s not the effort or achievement that really counts. It’s your valuable thought of someone who needs really care from you. It’s the precious gift or time that we are going  to get up gradually in a positive way. How can we perform as a unified group of decent persons if we lack our goals to attain the peak of success through perseverance and hard work? Failure is considered as a determining factor to strive hard in order to come by the overall success and achievement in life to come.

Quote # 2: “Having a crush on someone is a sign that you're growing up; thus it can be fun and sometimes disappointing.”

Adolescence is the phase, especially when a child is on the road of transformation. There are physical changes to occur—parts of these changes may be manifested physically, mentally, cognitively and sexually. Anybody can experience frustrations in life. That’s why he/she must be gifted with intrapersonal intelligence in order for him/her not to get swayed easily and resorted to committing suicide in the end. Having a crush on someone is good and it is commendable, but you have to control it before it devours your entire body and soul for self-destruction.

Let’s peruse…

A grand slam winner: Ms. High School Minglanilla, Ms. Pepsi Cola, Ms. Prime Asia, Ms. DermStreet, 2nd Best in Talent and Best in School Uniform

The Municipality of Minglanilla made its successful town fiesta and yearly made a tremendous celebration for beauty pageant among high school students from different schools (both private and public), namely, Minglanilla National Science High School, Tubod National High School, Lipata National High School, Tungkop National High School, Tulay National High School, Camp 7 National High School, Guindaruhan National High School, University of the Visayas (Minglanilla Campus), Southern Bethany Christian School and Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy.

The beauty pageant occurred last August 20 at the New Minglanilla Sports Complex. People from all walks of life were all filled with awe by the astonishing performances done by the twenty lovely candidates who were all proudly representing their respective schools, according to the organizer.

For each school within the Municipality of Minglanilla, two ladies were given such an opportunity to represent their school. Only the aforementioned ten schools joined in the search for Ms. High School Minglanilla this school year.

The said contest was truly a tough job for each candidate due to the consecutive practices they had while busy catching up with the lessons in school. Besides, workshops, seminars, campus tours and other sort of interactions were conducted in order to boost the confidence and self-esteem of every candidate. But, despite the pressures and stress, all of them were very happy with experiences they had gained and earned for even so short a time.

“When this game is over, I’m sure I’m going to miss this type of group bonding that we are all experiencing now,” this was the usual line that would pop out from each mouth of the candidates.

“And the Miss High School Minglanilla  is…” this was the statement from the host that gave the audience the thrill and excitement for the reason that the two candidates of Minglanilla National Science High School were the only ones left on stage and who successfully made it up for that big and final announcement.

That was surely the pride of each MNSHS student who attended the event that evening. It was Krizia Marie Gabrielle Dosdos, 15 years old, 4th year – Platinum got the 1st runner up position. And the lady who brought home the crown was none other than Claudine Nicole Librando, 16 years old, 4th year – Uranium. In addition to that, Claudine also won special and major awards that made her a grand slam winner: Ms. Pepsi Cola, Ms. Prime Asia, Ms. DermStreet, 2nd Best in Talent and Best in School Uniform.

Any human being in this world must recoil from putting a gap; otherwise, open communication will vanish into thin air and a covert communication channel will be thwarted at once without question

“Please bear in mind that sharing information with others and apprising the latest updates of the world today give emphasis to the importance of global communication, i.e. free communication and freedom of expression. It relinquishes our rights from “self-seclusion and self-inhibition” to help people unfurl their inundating mind streams and open out into something that results in a rich harvest of ideas from them.”

The isolated beauty and tranquility of the place connote open communication and progress. With the ambiance of the surroundings, you can feel figuratively the essence of reaching out to other people and do communicate with them regardless of races around the world through “vital and candid information.”

Communication serves as a bridge between the family and the community — working together for a unified stand on the issue and for a solid foundation to come by the common goals and for the amelioration of one’s life.

Metaphorically, it is likened to an open beach because it is very important to all of us in this planet who ought to shun from putting a gap; otherwise, open communication will vanish into thin air and a covert communication channel will be thwarted at once without question.

The main reason for this is that people have the right to be informed and they have to share with one another regarding the issues and other things that can be beneficial for everybody in order to reach ultimately for “the common good.”

Communication is something that can bridge you between the unknown world and the known world with sufficient information to dish out. Likewise, it’s about expressing and conveying your thoughts, emotions, notions and concepts with another human beings.

The ideal outcome of the event will animadvert upon itself and it will boomerang to the concerned persons if things are not properly addressed. It reciprocates best communication skills that can aid in keeping one’s head and confidently taking charge of unfamiliar situations.

People are more likely to listen to you, whatever you have to utter, if you can express yourself well, and this is particularly useful in influencing and negotiating significant personal, social and business matters.

To elaborate further about communication as an advantage over the other sub-categorized implications and cognitive-voluntary schema with communicative approaches. The opposite sides are taken into account.

Say for instance, a communication as regards the utilization of idiomatic expression like “between the devil and the deep blue sea” which figuratively emphasizes its true color and veritable sense of implicit meaning.  In this expression, if you are between the devil and the deep blue sea, you are in a scenario where there are two equally unpleasant options or alternatives.

For example, “When the new product didn’t take off, the management was caught between the devil and the deep blue sea: develop a new marketing campaign or drop the product.” In this open communication, as well as distinct scenario of the two comparable objects, each object will liken metaphorically to a different perspective. It comes in handy in working out the involution or rising actions and dealing with difficult people.

Open communication is said to be fathomed, unparalleled, and incomprehensible closed-doors gaps that sometimes implicate many dimensions, from something that is facile or so simple and something that is more complicated.

Besides, it is “something” that is potentially complex to comprehend the pros and cons of a subtle and particular human being’s intervention.

To enlighten anew about the open communication and open alternative views, communication itself mainly connects to the human mind. It carries a heavy burden with consciousness and sub-consciousness.

The open mind is also susceptible to “a lack of conviction.” Too many conflicting viewpoints can enter an open mind and cause indecision and unfair treatment.  With regard also to any standpoint, it is indispensable now and then to conceal the mind from reality and connect it to the real world where individuals do utterly communicate, disallow any more input, make a decision and act.

Perchance, more significant than having an open mind is having a mind that is capable of being open or closed. The hinges of our mind are our capability to act upon. We can decide to accept or reject information depending upon the fair judgment, trials and animadversions from the people around. It might be local or international.

Finally, information should be dished out with correct acceptance and unmistakable honor to divulge and pin down with laurels.

Mingscians as campus journalists go into raptures over MDGs in the Philippines!

“Campus Journalism as a Catalyst for Change: Achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015” is a challenge of every campus writer in the Philippines to have cognizance about the MDGs. According to study, the all eight MDGs are indeed measurable, quantifiable and realistic. To support its claim, each of the eight goals has a set of targets. These targets are quantified through indicators that will be set as the benchmark for measuring each country’s progress.

DepEd memorandum expresses its journalistic stand and goes into raptures over the eight MDGs. The campus journalists demonstrate understanding of the MDGs’ importance to the masses by expressing them through varied journalistic forms and approaches, demonstrate commitment to support MDGs by advocating and integrating them in related school community initiatives and enhance journalistic competence through healthy and friendly competitions such as individual, group, as well as radio broadcasting and scriptwriting contests.

MDGs and campus journalism go hand in hand for the development and gradual progress to gauge the veracity of societal needs, as far as global population is concerned. The student-writers have responsibility and awareness about the dissemination campaign to cater to the needs of the majority through sustention of the eight MDGs to become fully operational without delays.

For the information of everybody, Millennium Development Goals consist of the eight goals, and the acronym itself MDG is a familiar buzzword. However, there is little or no awareness of this global agenda agreed upon by 191 nations in 2000. In fact, a number of journalists who attended a recent media forum said they had not heard of the MDGs despite the fact that the Philippines has been an active participant in the drafting of many protocols involving human rights.

In a press release published recently in a national daily newspaper, it emphasized the importance of each MDG. It described as a roadmap in fighting poverty, and as a partnership between developed and developing countries in the attainment of these eight goals. To reprint these goals, they are as follows:

On the other hand, despite some clamors circulating around the country, some young journalists keep on rallying behind the proponents of MDGs. In fact, some questions have raised: Do they resolve global problems? Do the teachers impart savvy of journalism with regard to MDGs on the campus?

By all accounts, fundamentally, the better way to teach journalism is to train them to write for life. Perhaps, that’s a motherhood phrase. What the writer has really wanted to utter is to go beyond the competition mode. The holding of competitions to put something through its paces with the  students’ skills on campus journalism might have drudged to a certain echelon.

But making the students practice campus journalism more might do miracles and nose around more youth to the craft of factual “fourth estate.” This is not an animadversion on DepEd’s practice of holding schools press conferences in the country. This is only an overall standpoint of the Editorial Board and Staff of The Guindaruhan Tribune school paper.

Journalism gives emphasis to the importance of valuable information with the help of various media. Each student-writer must use extreme campus journalism as a means of making the people become fully aware of what is really happening around us today. If the people increase total awareness and heighten participation, the plans of development seem to realize and the MDGs will be successfully carried out.

As a result, significant decrease in poverty and amplified a much-needed boost in national economy will come to follow. The people will go hand in hand for the betterment of economy, and work with the heart to upgrade the conditions of the general public. It is inevitable that all of us are living in this labyrinth-filled nature and cycle of ups and downs by which the globe of our fate revolves in stages.

Our conditions at present are not still sustainable, not enough to cope with the demands and needs of society; ergo, we have to come to “grips” with the MDGs and apply draconian measures in order to accentuate the adequacy of our living conditions.

Through journalism, campus writers go into raptures over MDGs, especially in the Philippines!

Top-level officials visit MNSHS and observe French classes

DESPITE the circumstances of the great language diversities, the observation of French classes at Minglanilla National Science High School (MNSHS) took place last September 28, 2010 with some attendance, coming from DepEd officials (Central, Regional & Division Offices), French Embassy Linguistic Attaché, Alliance Française de Manille and Alliance Française de Cebu directors of studies, and other foreign language coordinators involved in the special program.

Regional SPFL-F Coordinator Ms. Marcelita S. Dignos through the memorandum issued by Director Recaredo G. Borgonia said  the visit and observation of French classes are geared towards reviewing progress of implementation of the SPFL-F, focusing on the agreed outputs and outcomes within the SPFL-F results framework including the terms in the MOA between the Embassy of France and DepEd which was signed last September 28, 2009, and reviewing actions taken on the recommendations formulated during the conference on start-up activities for the implementation of the teaching of French as a second foreign language SY 2010-2011 in selected Science High Schools in Region VII held last May 28, 2010.

Linguistic Attaché Emilie Flambeaux of the French Embassy to the Philippines emphasized the fact that French was the second international language and a key to prepare Filipino students “for their role as global citizens”. During the special visit at MNSHS, the visitors congratulated the French teachers, faculty members and the head of school Eutiquia S. Alday in their efforts to promote cultural and linguistic diversity.

On the other hand, DepEd Undersecretary for Programs and Projects Dr. Vilma Labrador during the language assessment and planning workshop held last February 16-19, 2010 at the Tagaytay International Convention Center, reminded the audience that the choice of science high schools was made since science is a key field for both French and Philippine governments. She said French has been already introduced in 13 science high schools from NCR and Region VII. 21 teachers are currently undergoing training in the two French cultural centers, Alliance Française in Manila and Alliance Française in Cebu.

The agreement signifies the important role of DepEd-learning institution as a privileged partner of the Embassy, in terms of the promotion of French culture, language and education in Cebu and the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao, according to Emilie Flambeaux. She also added that Alliance Française has four objectives: to promote the French language, France, Europe and the 70 countries which are members of the French-speaking community; to encourage intellectual exchange and debate; to support Filipino artists and intellectuals, and to advise Filipino students who wish to study French culture and/or study in France.
DepEd Coordinator for Special Program on Foreign Language (French) Ana Maria Hernandez expressed her profound gratitude to the principal Eutiquia S. Alday in her active role and support to the foreign language, together with faculty members for their hospitality, French teachers Dr. Ermetes F. Adolfo, Jr. and Jacqueline F. Bucao, and the 3rd year and 4th year students for their active participation during demo-lessons and their concerted efforts and interests to learn French language.

Adapting information communication technologies in a public science high school

What is Minglanilla National Science High School?

In a press release or information circulated over the internet, we all know about this learning institution. And what comprises or makes Minglanilla National Science High School as a science high school in Cebu Province Division?

We all know that the Minglanilla National Science High School is one of the best science high schools in Cebu South. The Minglanilla National Science High School is a non-stock, non-profit public science high school. It aims to provide free quality education for the deserving students. That’s why these make up the story behind the success of the 9-year old MNSHS.

In 1996, with Mrs. Carmencita Denampo as Supervisor for both the high school and elementary departments, she founded the school and named the Minglanilla Science and Technology School. Still under Mrs. Denampo's reign, it was renamed the Minglanilla School of the Future. In 1998, when Mrs. Denampo was promoted, Mrs. Rosita Sanico took over, and it was in her time that the high school and elementary departments were separated. Hence, it was finally named the Minglanilla National Science High School.

In the year 2000, Mrs. Leonida T. Lofranco took office until she moved in the Division Office. However, the changing of names is not enough to measure the school's development. It also takes growth, progress, and achievements.

From an enrollment of 31 high school students in 1996, the MNSHS is now proud to have a student population of 265; from a one-section school, the MNSHS now has two sections for each year level; from a beginning of one-classroom setting within the premises of the Minglanilla Central School, the MNSHS now has nine classrooms, one computer laboratory, and her own campus; from a couple of dedicated teachers, the MNSHS now has a competent teaching staff of 10 faculty members and a principal.

Based on the information given by the concurrent principal, she said that the two classrooms were donated by Rubber World through Cebu Chinese Chambers and Industry in 2003. It is now the Faculty Room, Principal Office and Uranium section. According to her, in 2004 Mrs. Leonida T. Lofranco was promoted as science supervisor, hence Ms. Evangelina C. Largo took charge of the administration as school caretaker. Then in 1996, a new school administrator came in; in fact, Mrs. Eutiquia Alday took over the administration. In 2005, other rooms were built with the help of DPWH through President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo who donated the classrooms. In 2006, the PTA finished the cementing of the badminton court, completed the stage and campus fencing, and added computers and laboratory equipment.

On the other hand, the DepEd should make IT in this school as separate subject like Math as well as Science because this technology is applicable in every part of human life. This IT carries out every task for one’s savvy about technology.  It is comprehensive in details which cannot be massed up by a mere integration.

It is very categorical that DepEd should commence teaching Operating System, Concepts of Hardware and Software, Ms Word and Excel to the first year students while Power Point and Desktop Publishing (graphics design) are for the second year students. Web development, some scripting language and data base applications both Microsoft and Open Software are for the third year students. Through these tasks, the students become knowledgeable on how to repair, troubleshoot, and do some networking and configuration, including internet and server maintenance which are intended for the 4th year students.

The teachers need rigid computer training.  As we have observed, the DepEd and private sectors even Microsoft offered training which is very basic to computer technology like basic office application, basic multimedia, basic desktop publishing, etc.  The quality of education is the top priority in this learning institution.

Students need quality learning approach to make it complete and usable when they enter the next phase of their lives. The students are equipped with correspondence savvy, including the forum, blog, online photos, e-mail, and chat, download and upload videos, conferencing and those things that are of the latest technological trends. The actual computer education is intended for the public high school student which will begin in 3rd year level.

The content will focus on operating system, software and hardware concepts, keyboarding, Ms Word and Excel. It is clearly understood that DepEd science high school teachers are equipped with a caliber of intelligence and a vast repertoire of experiences. They are flexible and aggressive, and they teach those missing topics even if they are no longer in the curriculum.

The graduating students will learn the basic concepts of programming like syntax, flowcharting, etc. Take note that there is no actual encoding since some old teachers of DepEd do not know how to encode texts. Based on the science curriculum, it found out that in the 3rd grading period, the 4th year will do the Ms Access database to enhance more of their skills in basic and advanced computer applications.

Taking the blame for one’s mistakes is also an act of responsibility

If a teen gets his girlfriend pregnant it is his responsibility to assure the good health and welfare of the baby.

Responsibility is everywhere. We can’t deny the fact that we can pan out whatever plans or goals to carry out in this filthy world. It’s true that responsibility is everywhere like when you wake up in the morning, you can jibe and concur with the time at work, and  go to sleep early just to come by or acquire for refreshing moments in your daily activities.

Taking the blame for one’s mistakes is also an act of responsibility, and it is the hardest part to do in your life. For instance, if you are at the market and accidentally hit a parked car, who is responsible for that accident? Is it the owner or you who accidentally hit the parked car?

Well, the question lies in us to further excogitate the scenarios. It is one’s responsibility to either wait for the owner of the vehicle or leave a card with one's info just to take care of the inevitable dilemmas in one’s life--to come across with that kind of shocking and nerve-breaking experience is not good to execute by the concerned person.

In a family, the father's responsibility is to assure the welfare of his family by providing whatever it takes to reach the peak of success; consequently, the mother's responsibility is to take care of the family members too, including the house chores while the father is doing his daily work or  labor.

The responsibility of the children is to honor and make them proud of their mother and father as their parents.

Lastly, responsibility widens the scope of universal concepts about success and richness; whether we like it or not, it goes beyond what is tolerable or intolerable in the eyes of the public.
