Thought flows in terms of stories...

Stories about events, stories about people, and stories about intentions and achievements. The best teachers are the best story tellers. We learn in the form of stories-Frank Smith. An educational system isn't worth a great deal if it teaches young people how to make a living but doesn't teach them how to make a life-Author Unknown.

How does a school organ cater to the needs of students

A school organ caters to the needs of students in relation to the affairs and improvement of the school.

The development, as well as improvement of the school is the paper’s vision while helping the students express themselves in their mission.

In that way, I believe that there will be a good interaction or harmonious relationship between the faculty and students.

A true campus paper has no rooms for baseless and unfounded reports, articles and opinions. It singles out to publish a controversial issue and to let it be raised candidly and vehemently without necessarily inviting any court suit for libel.

If the learning institution cannot tolerate a maximum militancy, at least some crucial, related, scholarly, veritable and concrete pieces of research and reporting will do.

It takes just a little skill to be able to deliver iconoclastic notions in very distinct or vivid languages and styles that are respectable and acceptable by the reading and viewing public—the masses.

The administrative strategies concentrated on the manipulation of student affairs; for example, censorship of articles has already been rampantly practiced. Students who are wearing signs of protests against the oppressive educational system are either threatened or bullied.

A struggle limited only on the campus cannot win, for our real foe is the imperialist with its local cohorts who perpetuate the existing neo-colonial and semi-feudal conditions of the Philippines.

Through these existing problems, the campus paper can serve as a progressive student populace with canons of journalism and structural consciousness.

The canons of journalism are the best weapon to curb our thoughts and, at the same time, restrain from bandying about infallible scuttlebutt concerning administrative matters if they are deemed necessary.

For the information of everyone, there are 7 significant things as quoted and created for ethical mileage by different editors and writers in both local and international newspapers.

Thus, the canons of journalism are as follows: 1) Responsibility; 2) Freedom of the Press; 3) Independence; 4) Sincerity, Truthfulness, Accuracy; 5) Impartiality; 6) Fair Play; and 7) Decency.
