Top-seeded seniors overturned sophomores at 51-49 on the MNSHS Intramurals’ Basketball Championship housed at Minglanilla Sports Complex last July 18.
Since the first half, seniors ruled over sophomores. Their point guard Kevin Dico showed up his outstanding rebounds and killing defenses. Seniors forward Mhar Kevin Ubas made a mischievous block against Delfin’s attempted rebound.
Sophomores struck their revenge on the second half. Betito and Largo made back-to-back shots that resulted in the fight close. Captain Antilegando took hard to guard them. Above all, seniors achieved victory with the help of Caño’s hot lay-ups and three-point shots.
“The game is hot! Finally, we proved our best. It’s overwhelming,” coach Ojober Rebojo proudly said.
Seniors singled out to represent Minglanilla National Science High School on the Sports Municipal Meet. It held at the same venue last year.
The game was more than hot; it was practically burning (with fun, to imply.
